Wheel classes focus on teaching fundamentals of clay and the techniques that are used on the potters wheel. Hand building classes focus on the fundamentals of clay and fun structural techniques with out needing to use a wheel.

With the purchase of an 8 week adult class, you’ll receive a 25 lb. bag of clay, access to the studio during “open studio” hours, and your work will be fired so you can take it home and enjoy it when you’re done! Charlie, Joel, Michele, and Tori are our adult class instructors.

The drop-in classes, taught by Linda, are currently Saturday mornings from 9-11 am. They’re $35/person/class. It is wise to plan on coming back more than once, the process of clay drying, firing, and glazing can take more than a couple weeks depending on firing schedules. The class space is limited to 8 students at a time, they are first come first serve and can be paid for with cash or check, made out to Power Ceramics LLC, upon arrival.

All payments are nonrefundable within two weeks of the start of a class.

Because of the unpredictable nature of the firing process, works are not guaranteed to make it home. We try to teach in ways that will help ensure your pieces last, however, we do not take responsibility for pieces that are damaged.
